Swerve G2 Painting

Seb Sweatman

About The Artwork

I love the sense of freedom and serendipity that painting gives me. This is one of the main reasons why I paint, colour and movement are an essential aspect of all my pieces. The inspiration for each piece comes from the physical act of painting which is very personal and through this journey the final product is revealed. However, like cooking for friends the eating and sharing of the meal is the ultimate goal.

About The Artwork

This was an experimentation in line and direction. Somehow the line is contrasted by the color fields. Maybe the line shows movement and the color fields are more static.

Abstract

Let’s begin with the trickiest! If you’re a literal person, abstract paintings are often hard to get your head around because they don’t depict anything real – not a person, not a place, not a thing.
